Minnie Ruth Ibendahl

	Minnie Ruth Ibendahl, 80, of Nashville, entered rest at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville.  	
	She was born on November 24, 1920 in DuQuoin, the daughter of Charles e. and OTillie Keiner Bahre.  She married Nelson J. Ibendahl on August 28, 1940 in DuQuoin.
	 She is survived by her husband Nelson of Nashville; three sons, John E. (Barbara) Ibendahl of Oakdale, Ralph (Joyce) Ibendahl of Oakdale and David N. (Natalie) Ibendahl of Nashville; two daughters, Ruth Ann (Ed) Nelson of Hamilton, Ohio and Carolyn Sue Horvath of Titusville, Florida; a sister, Carolyn Grear of Swanwick; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bahre of Nashville; 14 grandchildren; nine grandchildren spouses; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles K. Bahre and a brother-in-law, Russell Grear.
	 Mrs. Ibendahl was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Nashville where she was active in the Womens Guild and Dorcas Circle.  She was a member of the Washington County Hospital Auxiliary; a 4-H leader, Washington County Home Bureau, Washington Farm Bureau and the Farm Bureau Prime Timers group.
	Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27 at the St. Paul United Church of Christ with Rev. Mark Buck officiating.  Burial was held in the church cemetery.  Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and again from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Friday at the Styninger-Krupp Funeral Home in Nashville and one hour prior to service at the church.
	Memorials may be made to her church, the American Diabetes Association or the Washington County Hospital Extended Care.
